Would the cover make me pick this book up from a bookstore shelf? Hmm, again though I would surely notice I don't know if this would be the first book I would snatch up off the shelf. I think the female on the cover suggests the book is dark and mysterious. Do I like the cover? Yes, the cover is appealing and does draw your attention to it. The author name is placed at the bottom of the cover and again is in a black colour and slightly different font to that of the book title. or maybe "shadow wings"? The font of the title on this book is a much more elaborate font with lots of swirls and flicks but still red. The shadow of the girl cast on the background of ornate stonework possibly in an old building or mausoleum maybe? is as though the girl has wings. The girl is holding what looks like a blood coated knife. The small figure is quite in contrast to the dark feeling the rest of the cover gives off. On this cover I'd say the main and most prominent thing on the cover is the mysterious figure that I think is female mentioned in the blurb Mia Covere.
